Eurotier 2010 Prize Winner Awarded

At the AGRAR Unternehmertage in Münster, taking place 8 to 11 February 2011 Hypor awarded one of the lucky visitors to the Hypor booth at Eurotier 2010 participating in the contest to WIN your weight in candy. Mr. Daniel Geesink, living in Vreden (Germany), 24 years old, was invited to the Hypor booth at the Münster show to collect his prize. Dr. Peter Heinrichs, General Manager Hypor North-West Europe handed out the prize.  

Not everybody is aware of the fact that of every pig 2.5 kg of the total weight is used in sweets. Sweets are typically made from gelatine mixed with sweeteners, flavourings and colourings. Gelatine gives the sweets elasticity, chewiness and long shelf life. Hypor used the sweets to attract the attention to the fact that there is so much more to a pig than only pork.

The AGRAR Unternehmertage have been very successful for Hypor. Not only was the booth very well visited, the interest in the Hypor Libra as "the most balanced sow in the industry" is increasing with more and more customers experiencing the benefits of balanced breeding and happy to share that.
