History

In August 2009 the first delivery of GGPs/GPs arrived in Vietnam. Japfa Comfeed Vietnam Ltd, a division of well established and successful agricultural integrator PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk, accepted delivery of the Canadian produced breeding stock for their new pork production business venture. The arrival of the Hypor genetics highlighted the commitment of Japfa Comfeed Vietnam Ltd. to develop a supply of quality pork products for the growing local market. 

Activities

Japfa Comfeed Vietnam Ltd, is the second largest broiler and layer producer in Vietnam. Based in Long An province the company has expanded operations to include integrated poultry and pig production and slaughtering facilities.  By managing the production chain Japfa Comfeed is able to guarantee superior quality outputs at every level - from feed to value-added food products – meeting the growing protein demand in Vietnam.
